Members and employees of the Institute to be public servants.- Every member and employee of the Institute, when acting or purporting to act in pursuance of the provisions of this Act or rules or regulations or orders or directions made or issued thereunder shall be deemed to be a public servant within the meaning of section 21 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 (Central Act No.45 of 1860).
