The Registrar, who shall be an academic or administrative person, not below the rank of a Professor and the corresponding designation of the administrative post and he shall be a whole-time officer of the University and shall be appointed by the Chancellor on the recommendation of the Selection Committee, constituted by the Executive Council and headed by the Vice- Chancellor on such terms and conditions of service, as it may specify, subject to the provisions of statutes and regulations.
