(1) There shall be established in the State of Punjab, a University by the name of the Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law, Punjab. (2) The University shall be a body corporate by the name, specified in sub-section (), and shall have perpetual succession and a common seal. It shall have the power to acquire, hold and dispose of property both movable and imnmovable and shall sue and be sued by the said name. (3) The headquarters of the University shall be at Patiala or at such place, as may be specified by the State Government by notification in the Official Gazette.
