(1) No person shall be denied any office of the University, or be open to all. membership of any of its authorities or admission to any degree, diploma or other academic distinction or course of study on the ground of caste, creed or gender. (2) Subject to the provisions of sub-section (1), the University shall, eneral directions of the Government, in accordance with the special or g college or institutions, reserve seats for the purpose of admission in any affiliated with or administered by the University.
