(1) While making appointments to various posts in the University, the University shall give priority to efficiency and economy without compromising on the quality of work, to be done by each employee. (2) No excessive manpower shall be created, and wherever possible, the University shall appoint employees on contract basis. on such terms and conditions, as may be prescribed. (3) ‘The administrative work and maintenance of record, shall, as far as possible, be conducted by modern methods like computerization keeping in view the aspects of efficiency, cconomy and transparency. st PUNJAB GOVT GAZ.
