Order directing accused to furnish his specimen writing. An order directing an ac- cused to furnish his specimen writing under section 73, Evidence Act is not hit by Article 20(3) of the Constitution. The accused cannot, therefore, refuse, to give specimen writing when ordered by the Court. If he does refuse the Court can legally draw a presumption against him. It will not amount to compelling the accused to be witness against himself.
