( I ) The wnstitution o f the Court and the term o f office o f its members shall be Thc Court. prescribed by the Statures: Provided that such number o f members, as may be prescribed by the Statutes, shall be elected h m among the teachers, employees and students o f the University. (2) Subject to the provisions ofthii Act, the Court shall have the following powers and functions, namely:- (a)to review. from time to time, the broad policies and programmes o f the University, and to suggest measures for the improvement and development o f the University; (b)to wnsidw and.pars resolutions onthe annunlreport andtheannual accounts o f the University and the audit report on such accounts; (e) to advise the Viitor in respect o f any matter which may be referredto it f6r advice; and (4to perform such other functions as may be presciibed by the Statutes.
