(1) The ordinances shall be made, amended or repealed by the Board of Management: Provided that any Ordinance affecting, (a) the admission or enrolment of students or prescribing examinations to be recognized as equivalent to the University examination, or (b) the conditions, mode of appointment or duties of examiners or the conduct or standard of examinations or any course of study; shall be made according to the recommendations of the Academic Council. (2) If the Board of Management does not agree with the recommendations of the Academic Council, it may return the same for reconsideration by the Academic Council either in whole or in part, together with any amendment, which the Board of Management may suggest or it may reject the recommendations after these have been submitted for the second time. (3) Every Ordinance made by the Board of Management, shall have effect from such date, as the Board of Management may specify; and every Ordinance shall be submitted to the Chancellor for information.
