The Vice-Chancellor may, subject to the provisions of this Act, delegate such powers or duties conferred or imposed by or under this Act as may be prescribed by the Statutes to an Officer of the University under his direct administrative control. Subject to the provisions of this Act,- (a) The Board of Governors may delegate any of its powers or duties, conferred or imposed by or under this Act to- (i) the Vice-Chancellor ; or (ii) a Committee constituted from amongst its own Members; or (iii) a Committee appointed in accordance with the Statutes. Delegation. 266 LA GAZETTE DE L'ETAT [PART–II (b) The Finance Committee may delegate any of its powers or duties, conferred or imposed by or under this Act to- (i) the Vice-Chancellor; or (ii) a Committee constituted from amongst its own Members.
