The provisions of the Employees’ State Insurance Act, 1948 (Central Act 34 of 1948) and the rules made thereunder shall apply to the loading and unloading workers engaged in non-domestic purpose regularly in any establishment, shops, markets, etc., and for that purpose, they shall be deemed to be employees within the meaning of that Act.
