(1) Every employer or contractor who employs or engages workers for non-domestic purposes regularly shall maintain such registers and records in such form as may be prescribed by the Government. (2) The registers and records referred to in sub-section (1) shall contain such particulars as may be prescribed. (3) The employer or contractor shall produce the registers and records referred to in sub-section (1) for inspection when so required before such authority or officer as may be prescribed.
