Certain Acts not to apply.- The provisions of the Companies Act, 1956 (Central Act 1 of 1956), the Puducherry Shops and Establishments Act, 1964 (Act 9 of 1964) and the Puducherry Catering Establishments Act, 1964 (Act 6 of 1964) shall not apply to registered societies.
