(1) The market committee may, at any time, call a general meeting of the market committee and shall call such a meeting within one month after receipt of a requisition in writing from the Director or from such number of members or proportion of the total number of members as may be specified in the bye-laws of the market committee. (2) If a general meeting is not called in accordance with such requisition, the Director shall have the power to call a general meeting of the market committee.
