Salaries and allowances of Ministers, Leader of the Opposition and Chief Whip

There shall be paid to each Minister, Leader of the Opposition and the Chief Whip a salary of one thousand rupees per mensem and dearness allowance at such rates as officers of Government drawing a salary of one thousand rupees per mensem shall be entitled to from time to time, [and a constituency allowance of 1A[seven thousand and five hundred rupees] per mensem]. Added by Act 13 of 2003 Substituted for the words "two thousand and five hundred rupees" by Act 25 of 2008 dt.02/08/2008.
