(2) The President may resign his office by writing under his hand addressed to the State Government and shall be deemed to have vacated office on such resignation being accepted by the State Government : Provided that the President shsll, on such vaca- tion of office, also be deemed to have ceased to be a rnembe: or the Council; , (3) The Vice-President may resign his office by writing under his hand ,addressed to the Council and shall be deemed to have vacated office on sucll resignation being accepted by the Council at a meeting.
