.(I) ~ h i & shall ' be established one of more Asricuiturc Esperimcul AgricuItu~e Expcri me n t &ti-ons by the University with sub-srations t t~roughout the State as may -be ( 26-73 (a) I necessary from timc to time for the purpose cf carrying out all research activikies related 'to agriculture and allied sciences and subject to the provisions of this Act and the Sta tutcs such research shall be both in fundamental and applied sciences in all Faculties. (2) There shaIl be a Dean of Research who shall be appointed by the Vice-Chancellor with ,the approvaI of the Board. (3) The Dean of Research shall be in charge of the Agriculture Experimeij t stations with powers to control and co-ordinate all resiarch activities of the experiment stations. The Dean $ha11 forinulate the research programmes in all the institutions of the University in consultation with the respective Deans and shaIl be responsible to the Vice-Chancellor. Bxteneion
