(1) The Rt~istrar sha11 be a whole-time officer of the Univers~ty and shalI be appointed by the Board. (2) The Regisirar shall subject to the provisions of this Act and the Statutes be respansiblc to the Vice-chancellor for thecustody of the records and the common seal of the University and d ~ a l l be the ex oficio Secretary of the Academic Council. (3) The Rcgistrar shalI be responsible to the Vice-ChanceIlor for the conduct of the examina- tions as prescribed and shsll make all other arrange- ments necessary thcrefor and be responsible in like manner for thc due execution of all processes connected therewith.
