Recruitment to the pests of the service shall be made by the following methods, namely:— (a) 50% of the posts in respect of Category—I of the service shall be filled up by Direct Recruitment in accordance With rule 6 and the remaining 50% by way of ‘1 .(c)_ (d) ”(é) ' E 3 promotion from amongst employees of_Group-‘D’ posts like; PeOns, Chowkidars : andAttendants1n accordance with sub—rule (1) of rule9 (b) The posts in respect of Category—II of the service shall be filled up by way of promotion from amongst thefieldrMan Demonstrators in accordance with sub—rule (2) of rule 9 The posts in respect of Category—III of the service shall be filled up by way of promotion from amongst the Agriculture Sub—Overseers / Field Assistants in accordance With subrule (3)0f1u‘1e' 9: The posts in respect of Category—IV of theserice shall be filled up by way of promotion from amongst theJunior Fodder Development Overseers / ‘AinCultuIe Sub—Overseers/Field Assistants inaccordance With sub—rule (4) of rule 9. NotWithstahdihg anything contained in these rules reservation of vacancies or posts, as the "case may be," for 4- - (a) (1?) Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes shall be made 1n accordance With the provisions of theOrissa Reservation of Vacancies in Posts and Services (for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes) Act, 1975 and the rules made there under; and ' SEBC, Women, Sportsmen, Ex-servicemen and Persons with Disabilities shall be .made in. accordance with the previsions made under such Acts, rules, orders or instructions issued-in this behalf by the Government from time to time.
