Notwithstanding anything contained in any other law for the time being in force. the University shall have powers to confer degrees. diplomas and grant certificates, and confer degrees and honorary degrees and other academic distinctions and titles. as approved by the Board, in accordance with the norms laid down by Regulatory Bodies. 30, The University shall furnish to the statutory authorities such 'turns and dormation, reports, returns, statements and other information as may be required by them from time to time.
