Appointment of competent authority and its functions:- (1) The Government may by notification appoint such officer from the Department of Water Resources, or any other Department or Corporation as they consider necessary, to be the competent authority in respect of every Farmer's Organisation for the purpose of this Act. (2) The competent authority appointed under Sub-section (1) shall perform such of the duties as may be prescribed. CHAPTER - IV RESOURCES
