(1) Whenever it appears that it will be for f;;zp;Y the common good for two or more Samitis under- h, ,,,,, taking any work jointly the said Samitis may, at samitk the instance of the '[Gover.runenfl or of their own iointly. accord subject to the previous sanction of the Govern- ment, execute such work jointly, (2) When any such work is taken up jointly the concerned Samitis shall, with the approval of the '[Collector] select one person from amongst their executive authorities, who shall be kept in charge of the execution of the wcrk. (3) The 2[Collector] shall, for the purpose of such execution, determine the amount which shall be contributed by each of the concerned Samitis.
