(1) Whoever contravenes, disobeys, opposes or fails to conform to forcontra- any order given by a police officer under Section 29 shall, on conviction, be of punished with fine which may extend to five hundred rupees. ordets, elc. under (2)Whoever contravenes a notification or an order made under sections Section 30, Section 32, Section 33 or Section 34 or abets the contravention 29 lo 34. thereof, shall, on conviction, be punished- (a) if the said notification or order was made under sub-section (1) ot Section 30 or under Section 33 or Section 34, with imprisonment for a term which shall not be less than four months but which may exlend to one year, and shall also be liable to fine: Provided that the Court may, for adequate and sufficient reasons to be mentioned in the judgment, impose a sentence of imprisonment for a term of less than four months; (b) if the said order was made under sub-section (2) of Section 30, with imprisonment for a term which may extend to one month, or with fine which may extend to one thousand rupees, or wilh both; (c) if the said notification was made under sub-secljon (3) of Section 30, wilh fine khichmay extend to one thousand rupees; or Id) if the said order was made under Section 32, with imprisonment for a term which may extend to three months, or with fine which may extend to one thousand rupees, or with both. (3) Whoever opposes or fails to conform to any direction given by a police officer under section 31 shall, on conviction, be punished with fine, which may extend to five hundred rupees.
