(1) Whenever it shall appear to the.~o&missioner that any place in Sioner may the area under his charge (being a place where on account of a pilgrimage, take spec~al measures fair or other such occurrence, large bodies of-persons have assembled or are to prevent outbreak of likely to assemble) is visited or likely to be visited with an outbreak of any epidemic epidemic disease, he may, in consultation with the Municipal Corporation or disease at fairs, el=. Municipality or other local authority within the locallimits of the jurisdiction whereof such place is situated, take such special measures and may, by a public notice, prescribe such regulation.^ to be observed by residents of the said place and persons present thereat or repairing theretd or returning therefrom as he deems necessary to prevent the outbreak of such disease or the spread thereof. (2) The expenses incurred by the Commissioner in respect of the arrangements for sanitation and the presenration .. of order at or about the place of assembly referred to in sub-section (1 ) may be recovered from the Municipal Corporation or the Municipality or other local authority concerned.
