Meeting or requisition by Councillors :– (1) The Chairperson or in his absence the Vice-Chairperson 2[* * *] shall call a special meeting on a requisition signed by not less than one- third of the total number of Councillors. (2) if the Chairperson or the Vice-Chairperson 2[* * *] fails to call a special meeting to be held within ten days from the date of receipt of such requisition the meeting may be called on five day’s notice by the persons who signed the requisitions.
