Registration of existing burial or burning grounds :– Within three months from the date of the publication of a notification by the State Government extending this chapter to any municipality, every place therein which is used as a burial or burning ground for corpses, shall be registered as such by the owner or person-in-charge thereof in the office of the municipality but not fees shall be charged for such registration.
