Composition with livery stable-keeper :– The municipality at its discretion may compound for any period, not exceeding one year, with livery stable-keepers and other persons keeping carriages, carts or animals for hire, for a certain sum to be paid for the carriages, carts or animals so kept by such persons in lieu of the tax at the rates specified in any order made by the municipality under Section 176. 85 THE ORISSA MUNICIPAL ACT, 1950
