(1) The Finance committee shall consist of — (a) the Vice-Chancellor of the University who shall be the ex-officio Chairman; (b) the Registrar of the University who shall be the ex-officio Secretary; (c) the Finance Officer; and (d) such other members as may be prescribed. (2) The Finance Committee shall be the principal financial body of the University to take care of financial matters and shall, subject to the provisions of this Act, Statutes and Rules, co-ordinate and exercise general supervision over the financial matters of the University and shall exercise such other powers and perform such other functions as may be prescribed.
