Notwithstanding the transfer of Colleges, Departrqents or Institutions provisions. under section 37 or section 39 of this Act, for a pried of six months froin the date of- commenccmen~ of this Act or such further period as the Go~e~nrncnt Inay ,by notification speclhr, every person who. immediately before the said date of ~ommencemedt, was a student of any College, Depart- mznt or Institution which has been disaffiliated From any other University in accordance with the pro~iaions of this Act and affiliated to the University, and was ciig~ble to be admittd to any examinations held or conducted under -the Regulations in force of other University concerned,- (a) shall be admitted to such examinations by other University concerned - and the result of such examinations shall be . s a t by the other . University coqcerned to the University withia a reasonable time; and (b) thz corrzj;>onjing dcgree, deploma or other acadzmic distinction or mark-shect .shall be jssued or conferred upon the qualified students by. the University on the 'basis of result of such exammations conducted by other Uoiversity conccraed.
