(1) The Board shall appoint a person selected from among a panel con- taining the names of officers belonging fo thc Orissa Finance', Semi* furnished . by tha Ctoueramenc, as the Finance 0-r of the University for such pe~iod and on such terms as may be prescribed by Statutes. (2) The Finonce Officcr shall be a whole time officer of the University and shall, subject to the control of the Vice-Cbanoellor, exercise-such powers and perform such duties as may be prescribed by Statutes.
