It is hereby enacted by the Nagaland Legislative Assembly in the Forty First year of the Republic of India, as follows : — I. Short title and commencement. (1) This Act may be called the Nagaland Village and Area Councils (Second Amendment) Act, 1990. (2) It extends to the whole of the State of Nagaland. (3) It shall come into force on such dates as the State Government may by notification in the Official Gazette appoint.
