Notice for erection of building or addition to repairs of buildings.- Every person who intends to,- a. erect a building; or b. execute any of the works specified in sub-clause (b) of clause (1) of section 340, in any municipal are shall, apply for sanction by giving notice in writing or his intention to the Chief Officer of the municipality in such form and containing such information, as maybe prescribed.
