Prohibition of erection without sanction.- No person shall erect or commence to erect any building or execute any of the works specified in sub-clause (b) of clause (1) of Section 340 in any municipal area, except with the previous sanction of the Chief Officer of the Municipality and in accordance with the provisions of this Act. and the regulations made thereunder in relation to such erection of building or execution of work, as the case maybe.
