Assessment of development charges and payment: The Chief Officer of a Municipality or an Officer of the Municipality authorised by the Municipality in this behalf, shall by order, assess, after giving the person concerned an opportunity of being heard in such manner, as 325 may be prescribed, the amount of the Development charges on the basis prescribed under Section 170.
