- S. 1Title, extent and commencement (1) This Act may be called the Nagaland jhumland Act, 1970

- S. 8(1) All customary rights in Jhumland as are now in existence shall continue subject to the provisions of this
- S. 9Acquisition for public purpose The government may acquire any ihumland required for public purpose
- S. 10Ejectment The Deputy Commissioner may at any time eject any person who has squatted without authority on any Jhumland
- S. 12The State Government may make such general or special orders, it thinks fit to prevent risk of damage by fire to Jhumla
