(1) The R e m shall be the ex officio Seaetayo f all the Councils ofthe University under the Act. (2) The Registrar shall,- (i) Comply with all directions and orders of the executive Council and the Pro Chancellor; (ii) Be the custodian of the records, the common seal and such other property of the University as the executive Council may commit to his charge; . i Issuenotice for, and keep minutes ofthe meetings of the Councils, Board of Studies and other authorities of the University; (iv) Conduct all official correspondence between the University and others outside the University and between various Councils, Board and authorities within the University; (v). Furnish notices, minutes and other records of the University to the Chancellor on his own and furnish all information when asked by the Chancellor; (vi) Call meetings of the Executive Council for takings emergent decisions, if any, in the absence ofhoth the Pro Chancellor and the Vice- Chancellor, Vice Chancellor and the Executive Council; and (viii Be directly responsible to the Vice Chancellor for the proper discharge of his duties Directors
