- S. 1Short title, extent and commencement- (a) This Act may be called the Mizoram Societies Registration (Amendment) Act 2012
- S. 2Insertion of Section 8A- 1) In the principal Act, after Section 8 new section shall be added as follows: “8A

- S. 5Insertion of Section 24A- In the Principal Act, after section 24 new section shall be added as follows: “24A
- S. 6Amendment of Section 25
- S. 7Deletion of Section 26- Section 26 of the Principal Act shall stand deleted
- S. 8Amendment of Section 27
- S. 9Section amends the Mizoram Societies Registration Act to change who dissolves societies from the court to the Registrar.
- S. 10The section amends penalties in the Principal Act by removing "on conviction" references in section 35.
- S. 11Amendment of Section 37- The explanation as it is existing in section 37 of the Principal Act shall stand entirely delet
- S. 12Section 12 amends Section 40 to add a clause to it, ensuring the repeal does not affect existing registered societies.
- S. 23BSection 23B allows the Registrar to appoint a liquidator to wind up a society whose registration is cancelled.
