In the Mizoram Salaries and Allowances of the Speaker and the Deputy Speaker Act, 1987 (Act No. 4 of 1987), as amended (hereinafter refferred to as the principal Act) in section 3, for the words “the Speaker, a salary of two thousand five hundred rupees per mensem and the Deputy Speaker a salary of two thousand rupees per mensem,” “the words” the Speaker, a salary of two thousand seven hundred fifty rupees per mensem and to the Deputy Speaker a salary of two thousand two hundred and fifty rupees per mensem” shall be substituted.
