Criminal Investigation Department.- The Criminal Investigation Department shall take up investigation of inter-state, inter-district and other crimes of serious nature as notified by the government and will have specialized units for investigation of cyber crime, organized crime, homicide cases, economic offences, and any other category of offences, as notified by the State Government and which require specialized investigative skills.
