Amendment of : In section 342 of the Principal Act, after sub-section (2), a new sub-section Section 342 (3) shall be inserted, namely :- “(3). Constitution of High Powered Committee for Implementation of Master Plans:- In order to effectively coordinate and monitoring of implementation of various proposals in the Master Plan and Detailed Strategic Zonal/Ward Development Plan and Zoning Regulations, a High Powered Committee may be constituted by the State Government by notification for municipal areas.”
