Punishment for offence for which no punishment is provided: Whoever contravenes any provision of this Act or any rule or order made, or any condition of any licence, permit or authorisation issued there under for which no punishment is separately provided in this Act, shall be punishable with imprisonment for a term of not less than one month which may extend to six months or with fine of not less than three hundred rupees which may extend to one thousand rupees, or with both.
