Penalty for failing to produce licence, permit or pass by licensee or his servant: If any holder of a licence, permit or pass granted under this Act or any person in the course of his employment and acting on his behalf, fails to produce such licence, permit or pass on the demand of any Excise Officer duly authorized by the Commissioner, in this behalf to make such demand he shall be liable to fine of not less than five hundred rupees which may extend to one thousand rupees.
