Penalty for possession of unlawfully imported, exported, transported and manufactured intoxicating liquor, etc.: If any person, without lawful authority, has in his possession any quantity of any intoxicating liquor, knowing the same to have been unlawfully imported, transported or manufactured; or knowing that the prescribed duty has not been paid thereon, he shall be liable to imprisonment for a term of not less than six months which may extend to five years and shall also be liable to fine of not less than five thousand rupees which may extend to ten thousand rupees.
