Power to create, alter or abolish revenue divisions, districts, sub-divisions The State Government may, by notification in the official Gazette, divide the area to which this Act extends into one or more revenue divisions, and may similarly divide any division into districts, any district into Sub-divisions, any sub-division into circles and circles into villages, and may create as such, alter the limits of, amalgamate, or abolish any such divisions, districts, sub-divisions, circles or villages.
