Power of the State Government to give directions The State Government may give such directions, not inconsistent with the provisions of this Act, to any Collector, Revenue Officer or any other competent authority under this Act as may appear to the Government to be necessary for the purpose of carrying out the provisions of this Act or the rule made thereunder.
