Service of notice, orders, etc. Every notice or other document required or authorized to be served under this Act may be served either - (a) by delivering it to the person on whom it is to be served, or (b) by leaving it at the usual or last known place of abode of that person, or (c) by sending it in a registered letter addressed to that person at his usual or last known place of abode, or (d) in case of a corporate body by delivering it or sending it in a registered letter addressed to the Secretary or other principal functionary of the company or body at its principal office, or (e) in such other manner as may be laid down in the Code of Civil Procedure, 1908 (Act V of 1908).
