Fowers to delegate : The State Government may, by notification in the official Gazette .direct that any powers or duty which by this Act or by any rule made thereunder is conferred or imposed on the appropriate authority except the powers to make rules shall in such circumstances and subject to such corditions, if Ex-148/1992 - 8 - any, as may be specified in the notification, be exercised or performed also by an officer or authority subordinate to the State Government.
