In this Part, unless the context otherwise requires,-- (a) "contiguous zone" means the contiguous zone of India described, or notified as such for the time being under Section 5 of the Territorial Waters, Continental Shelf, Exclusive Economic Zone and other Maritime Zones Act, 1976 (80 of 1976); (b) "Convention" means the International Convention on Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping for Seafarers, 1978, signed at London on the 7th day of July, 1978, as amended from time to time.]
