This Part applies to-- (a) every sea-going Indian ship fitted with mechanical means of propulsion wherever it is; and (b) every foreign ship while it is at port or place in India. Substituted by Act 13 of 1987, Section 2, for Section 75 (w.e.f. 01/07/1989).
