. (1) Every society shall maintain at its registered office a register of its members and shall enter therein the following particulars, namely- (a) the name and address of each member; (b) the date on which the member was admitted; and (c) the date on which a member ceases to be such. (2) If entries are not made within fifteen days of the admission of a member or as the case may be, cessation of membership, every officer in default shall be punishable with fine which may extend to Rupees twenty for each day the contravention continues.
