Section 16

The Chief Financial Officer

(1) The Chief Financial Officer shall be appointed by the Board of Governors in such manner as may be prescribed by the Statutes. (2) The Chief Financial Officer shall be responsible for the due custody of all financial records and for the financial transactions of the University, and shall be bound to place before the Board of Governors, Board of Management, Chancellor, Vice Chancellor or any other authority, all such information and documents as may be required for the transaction of the University’s business. (3) The Chief Financial Officer shall exercise such powers and perform such duties as may be prescribed in the Statutes or as may be decided from time to time by the Board of Governors or the Board of Management.
